Amy Smart is a former American actress and model. Amy Smart was born and raised in California USA began her modelling in Italy. Her first role as an actor was in 1996's TV production Her Costly Affair. Then, as a supporting character in the film Starship Troopers she struggled very hard. Amy was unable to make the switch from modeling to acting, as model actors aren't generally considered to be actors of any kind. They are usually given smaller and unimportant parts. Amy did not give up and ultimately she was offered bigger parts in the movies Varsity Blues and The 70s. Amy then stepped into leading roles with the 2005s romantic comedy film Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy finally got the recognition she'd been seeking more than a decade. Amy continued to make important films like Crank alongside Jason Statham or Shameless in which she was loved as a regular character.
